Lodolite (otherwise known as ‘Inclusion Quartz’, ‘Garden Quartz’, ‘Scenic Quartz’, ‘Landscape Quartz’, ‘Lodalite’ and ‘Lodelite’) is a quartz with different colours and inclusions such as chlorite, feldspar, and other minerals. The inclusions can look like gardens, underwater scenes and landscapes. Lodalite is in the phantom quartz category. It is formed by crystal growths in quartz on previously existing stones over millions of years. The name ‘lodolite’ is derived from Spanish and means ‘mud stone’ – this is due to the mixed mineral and crystal formations. Wise Women in Europe adored lodalite, believing it to be a magical connection to mother nature and the earth. It was also placed in herb gardens to protect plants.
This is a stunning scenic quartz crystal ring featuring forest greens and plant-like formations.
